Plastic, fibreglass and flocking repairs explained
Published 25 June 2026 · 4 min read
A lot of what others replace can be repaired. Here we explain the methods behind plastic, fibreglass and flocking work.
Plastic repair inside and out
We repair cracks, holes and deformed plastic on both interior and exterior parts. Plastic is welded, repaired and reinforced so the part lasts and keeps its shape.
Repairing rather than replacing is often both faster and more economical — and preserves the original.
Fibreglass and laminate
We repair fibreglass laminate and body parts with shape and strength restored. The damage is built up in layers and the surface restored so it blends in with the original.
Flocking (fibre coating)
Flocking is a fibre coating that gives a velvet-like, hard-wearing and tidy finish. We apply flocking on most surfaces, such as glove boxes and interior parts.
Fabricating plastic parts
When a part can't be saved we can make a new one. We fabricate plastic parts, including for Kabe's upcoming models.
